Angela MKL Hansen 

I am passionate about science, nature, music, art, and adventure. When I was a little girl my favourite pass times were hopping from boulder to boulder next to the water at the beach, tide pools and turning over ricks to find crabs, and hiking around in the woods in my back yard.

When I had chores to do I would often sneak outside into the backyard to play in the garden. I loved it when my dad hadn't mown the lawn in a while and the grass got really tall. I would lie on my back and lose myself in the jungle of weeds and grass towering above me, and I would watch the insects flying overhead. Then I would make dandelion crowns, or hunt for mushrooms and salamanders in the woods until my mother called me back in. 

Now that I am all grown up I continue to live for the wonders of nature, and sharing those wonders with others brings me the greatest joy!
