During the Pacific Rim Marine Debris Conference in Honolulu in 2013 I met Phillipe and Maxine Carillo who were in Hawaii collecting footage for their documentary about the problem of marine debris in the world's oceans.

Since we were all at the conference for that very reason some of the participants did interviews and shared stories. Phillipe and Maxine were anxious to hear them all. When they heard my story they thought it was moving and they asked to record it. Here is a clip from the documentary, Inside the Garbage of the World (2016).
